I am feeling tired as it has been a busy one. Though I am not complaining as it has been a lovely day. I spent the day , going to church then all afternoon in the park. The weather has been wonderful over the weekend. The family I showed in last but one post were with me and my sister in Christ , Shazia. I so loved spending the day with them, children are lovely when the weather is sunny as they can run around freely. There are a lot of Muslim mothers and children in the park where we were today. It is always a good opportunity to build relationships and get to know others.. I love being a part of the Asian team in my home church. So many women are oppressed by Islaam. They don't go out alone , especially in the evenings. One lady told me that she can't use a razor and another said ,that during her menstruation time she cannot share the same bed as her husband or shower. These women need the "free will" that we take for granted. We christians are so fortunate to know Christ and the Gospel. Please add them to your prayers..
I just love meadow flowers. I saw some on Angies blog, they gave me a lift. I don't usually like roses in a garden. I have some in my garden, such a lovely red. It's amazing how folwers lift us , though I guess we shouldn't be as God gave us such lovely flowers and other scenery. I like to think of them as God' paint box. Living in a city as I do, I yearn for the country. I live about a thirty minute drive away from the Peak District. If i could choose to live anywhere it would be in the countryside or on the coast..
